Rieder Hütte is an Alpenverein hut in the Höllengebirge above Ebensee on Lake Traunsee. An easy weekend trek with a short climb (~20 km round trip, ~1556 m elevation gain, 2 days with 1 night), ideal as your first hut-to-hut. Best season June to October.
