Structure Genre Unattended, the hut is alway open Beds: 20 Room subdivision: 1x20 Beds with wool blankets Recommended use sleeping bag Eating area: 1 Eating place: 20 Outdoors: Fountain Grill for barbecues Terrace with tables Year of construction: 1982 Year of renovation: 1989 Drinks and pasta are available for purchase Description Garzonera is located on a welcoming terrace at the edge of a forest of larch and fir trees in the upper Leventina Valley. The hut was completely renovated in 1988 and has maintained the ancient characteristics of an alpine farmhouse that fits very well into the mountain environment. Inside there is a spacious studio with a wood and gas kitchen, a refectory with a wood stove that ensures heat in any weather, a large and particularly sturdy table. In the back we find the dormitory with about twenty beds, complete with mattress, pillows, covers and military blankets. The lighting is powered by a solar panel system. The toilets are located inside, you can have running water all year round, in the winter only in the fountain located outside (barring unforeseen events).
